What an UGG world

Have you noticed how almost everyone seems to have UGG boots? If they don't have UGG, they have an imitation brand, or a cheap target brand. Uggs are everywhere. Possibly, the world's leading fashion designers woke up one day and thought, "What kind of shoes can we create that people will pay outrageous prices for because they are soft, flexible, comfortable, warm, nice, fluffy, chic, and, and, and, and, ....

Yes I just got a pair of UGG boots.

Well, what can I say? I've been wanting them for over four years, and as some of you may be aware my birthday is in 3 weeks. So when my Grandma and Mother are at the mall with me, and they ask me if I "Think I need a new pair of shoes-", which is usually a hint that i'm wearing the same pair too frequently, and I reply that I still want UGG boots, then they tell me to "Go look."...

Long story short I am now the proud owner or the most awesome pair of boots that the whole fashion world appears to have.

I do really love fashion, but I also have those moments where I feel guilty that I'm buying/own such a multitude of things, when so many have nothing; however, after confessing my guilt about that to my Mom, she helped me to put it into perspective. Yes, there are those times where excessive buying is really wrong, but there are other times where it's appropriate to "use" what God has blessed us with. UGG boots are something i'm seriously going to use ALL THE TIME. So as opposed to buying these flimsy little heels that cost hundreds, or the latest designer clothes, sometimes it's ok to splurge on the things you'll use alot.

Anyways, that's my new take on things like that.

Have a great night everyone!
